I’m assuming it’s during the Road Trip from Hell, where Arya catches him sleeping and goes towards him with Needle, but he wakes up and catches her (or was never really asleep in the first place who knows)
IF, and that is IF they kill him off, I believe it will either be at the RW or he’ll die by the Trident rather than being found by the EB. (and I am almost CERTAIN he’ll be killed off in the show sometime next season; I’d stake money on it)
I don’t think they will outright kill him off. Regardless of whether or not they’ve done the character justice, he is pretty beloved, even among show-only people, I think. (And GRRM wrote the RW ep, correct? You know he won’t kill off his favorite puppy dog.)
I think they’re going to skip the whole inn scene and have him be wounded at the RW, then have the “death” scene and leave his actual fate open with the possibility of him returning.
