If I won a freakin’ medal — if I won any medal — I would not be a bobsledder. Absolutely not. Are you kidding me? No. No! I’m so desperate. Desperate. It absolutely doesn’t matter (whether she wins in the Winter or Summer Games.) And you know the hard question will be is if I get a medal for bobsled, and I get a medal finally for track, which would I love more?

LONDON OLYMPICS 2012: OPENING CEREMONYcomplete playlist of songs played on the opening ceremony
I absolutely loved the choice of music played on the Opening ceremony, so I decided to make a playlist with all the songs (44 of them), even thought I’m pretty sure someone already did this; I couldn’t find it on tumblr tho. The folder is divided in three parts that include all the songs that are not on the Isles of Wonder OST but were played on the ceremony. Note that this playlist doesn’t include the music used in the Parade of Nations! Most of the songs are (hopefully) HQ. TEAM USA TEAM LADIES
Of the 46 gold medals won by Team USA, 29 of them were won by the women’s team. As a friend noted elsewhere today, to put it in perspective: if the USA women’s team had been their own country, they would have tied the host country, Great Britain, for fourth place in gold medals.
So hell yeah to running - or kicking, shooting, hitting, swinging, rowing, fighting, etc. - like a girl.
